As per the directions of the honorable supreme court of India, the UGC modified and issued guidelines on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions in 2009. According to these guidelines, our college took this initiative and formed a well-functioning Anti-ragging cell.
The anti-ragging cell will be the supervisory and advisory board in preserving a culture of the ragging-free environment in our college campus. Any student or group of students found guilty of committing ragging on the campus or even outside the campus is liable for the punishment both at academic and legal levels. The anti-ragging cell in our college organizing various awareness programs against this inhuman activity. The cell is working with the support of a strong committee lead by the principal and the coordinator.
