‘Anti–Drug Club’ was formed on 10th March 2017 with the convener Sri. Ajoy Bhaskar and
Prof. Mohana Raj (Principal), Dr Priya Senan (N.S.S Programme Officer), Asst. Prof. Jijith(N.S.S
Programme Officer), Dr Vinu (Staff Secretary) and all the N.S.S volunteers as members of the club.
The club organized the first Anti- Drug awareness seminar and an awareness class on 17th March 2017 at
1:30 pm in the college Seminar Hall. The seminar was inaugurated by the Asst. Excise Deputy Commissioner
Sri. Mohan Kumar. College Principal Prof. Mohana Raj presided over the function and Civil Excise
officer Sri. Binu Varghese conducted the seminar. Asst. Prof. Sri. Ajoy Bhaskar (Convener Anti-Drug
Club ‘Vimukthi’) welcomed the audience. Dr Priya Senan(N.S.S Programme Officer) rendered the vote
of thanks. Seventy-nine students participated in the seminar.
The club organized the second Anti-Drug Awareness seminar and class on 12th October 2018.

Sri. Ashad S. (Circle Inspector of Police, Konni) inaugurated the function. College Principal Dr. Biju
Pushpan presided over the function. Sri Biju Philip (Civil Excise Officer) conveyed the antidrug oath and
Sri. Aji Kumar G (Preventive Officer) delivered the talk on the topic “Consequences of the use of drug
abuse and health impact”. Sri. Ajoy Bhaskaran welcomed the audience and Dr Priya Senan rendered the
vote of thanks. More than 200 students participate in the seminar.
The club organized the 3rd Anti-Drug Awareness seminar and Awareness campaign in association
with Excise Department on 2nd August 2019. Sri. Konniyoor P.K (Konni Block Panchayath President)
inaugurated the seminar and Smt. Sheenu K.S (Civil Excise Officer) delivered the talk on the topic “Drug
Abuse and Health Impact”. Smt. Rajitha R (Civil Excise Officer) conveyed the anti-drug oath, Dr Biju
Pushpan (Principal) presided over the function and Dr Priya Senan (N.S.S Programme Officer)
welcomed the audience. Sri Ajoy Bhaskar (Convener Anti-Drug Club ‘Vimukthi’) rendered the vote of
thanks.
